FAQ

🌀 What kind of coaching do you offer?

I offer holistic, queer-centered coaching for folks navigating identity, trauma, life transitions, relationships, creative blocks, and personal transformation. My approach blends deep listening, somatic awareness, and integral frameworks to support you in becoming more fully you.

    🧠 Is this therapy?

Nope—coaching and therapy are different. Therapy often focuses on diagnosis, mental health, and healing the past. Coaching is future-oriented and growth-focused. We explore where you are now, where you want to go, and what's getting in the way. That said, many of my clients also work with a therapist alongside coaching.

🧭 Who do you work with?

I primarily support LGBTQIA+ folks, creatives, neurodivergent folks, and those exploring identity, purpose, or nontraditional paths. That said, anyone is welcome here. If you're drawn to deep reflection, emotional honesty, and transformational growth, we’ll probably work beautifully together—regardless of how you identify.

🔍 What happens in a coaching session?

Sessions are spacious, intentional, and co-created. We might talk, reflect, use metaphors, develop practices, or work with somatic awareness. You’ll leave with fresh insight and something tangible to carry into your life between sessions.

    💫 What’s your coaching style?

My style is warm, intuitive, grounded, and occasionally a little magical. I’ll hold a mirror up with compassion, challenge gently, and celebrate your growth. I believe transformation happens when we bring our full, messy, brilliant selves into the light.

    🔐 Is everything confidential?

Yes. Everything you share is held in strict confidence. I create a container of safety and trust so you can show up fully and honestly.

🕰 How long is a coaching session?

The intake session is 90 minutes. Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes. We usually meet every other week, though that’s flexible based on your needs.

💸 How much does coaching cost?

I offer a sliding scale to increase access and equity. After our initial chemistry call, we’ll discuss a rate that feels supportive and sustainable for both of us. I also occasionally offer pro bono sessions or short-term programs.

    🌱 What’s a “chemistry call”?

A free 20-minute chat where we see if we’re a good fit. You can ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and get a feel for how I work—no pressure, no sales pitch.

🔮 How do I know if coaching is right for me?

If you’re feeling stuck, curious, on the edge of something, or longing for change—you’re in the right place. Coaching can help you reconnect to your truth, trust your process, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

🧩 Can coaching help with ADHD?

Yes. Many of my clients are neurodivergent, including those with ADHD. Coaching can support you in building structure, self-compassion, and momentum. We’ll explore what actually works for you—not just what works in theory—so you can move forward without shame or burnout.

💔 I’ve experienced trauma. Is coaching still a good fit?

Absolutely—and I work from a trauma-informed lens. While coaching isn’t a substitute for therapy, it can be a powerful complement. I’ll meet you with care, curiosity, and zero judgment, always honoring your pace. Together, we’ll build trust and create space for integration and growth.

❤️ Do you offer coaching for relationships?

Yes! I work with folks navigating all kinds of relationship dynamics—monogamy, polyamory, chosen family, queerness, kink, and beyond. Whether you’re deepening intimacy, working through conflict, or redefining what love means for you, we’ll explore it with honesty and intention.

🛠 What if I don’t know what I want to work on yet?

That’s okay—and very common! Many clients begin coaching with a sense of discomfort or restlessness they can’t yet name. We’ll get curious together. You don’t need to have it all figured out to start.

    🪄 What is Queer Magic?

Queer Magic is a free, short-term coaching experience designed for LGBTQIA+ folks and others who’ve experienced “otherness.” It includes a 20-minute chemistry call, a 90-minute intake, and a 60-minute coaching session. It’s a chance to explore coaching in a low-pressure, affirming space—with no cost, no obligation, and no catch.

✨ Who is Queer Magic for?

This program is for queer folks, trans and nonbinary people, people of color, disabled folks, neurodivergent folks, and anyone who has lived at the margins—people whose identities, bodies, or ways of being haven’t always been welcomed or celebrated. If you’ve ever been told you’re “too much” or “not enough,” this space is for you.

🤔 What if I’m not queer—can I still sign up?

Maybe. Queer Magic was created specifically to support LGBTQIA+ folks and others navigating systemic othering and identity-based trauma. If you don’t identify as queer but feel this offering might deeply resonate with your lived experience, you’re welcome to reach out. I hold space for nuanced stories and will let you know if it feels like a good fit—or if another path might serve you better.

📆 What happens after the free sessions?

If we both feel aligned, you’ll have the option to continue coaching at a discounted rate. But there’s zero pressure to commit. Many folks walk away from the experience with clarity, direction, or a sense of empowerment—whether or not we continue together.

💌 How can I share Queer Magic with someone I know?

Beautiful—thank you for spreading the word! You can send them a link to the Queer Magic page, or invite them to reach out directly. This program exists to build connection and create access—your referrals mean the world.
